Founded in 2008, the Factor Ambiente Investigation and Development Department finds itself ready to invest in the new technologies of water treatment development, through the co-operation with High-Teaching institutes and private investigations institutes. The partnership that exists among Espina Y Delfin and the Santiago de Compostela University illustrates this effort to create products with added value.

Aware of the importance in building up careers in a sector that there are still few specialized labour, Factor Ambiente is running some co-operation protocols with Portuguese Universities.
